Update

Happy friday jammers! Welcome to the first official Dissonance Devlog.

Firstly, we'd like to thank players who have taken the time this week to leave feedback and comments. Dissonance is currently a small student project still very early in its development and feedback helps us a lot in improving the project. To better aid us, and our players, in addressing feedback, we have created a feedback form which is now live on Dissonance's page.

Patch Notes

  • Added: Exit confirmation menu to title screen, pause screen, and lose screens.
  • Updated: Edited flow between menu elements to improve navigation; Removed button wrap-around to allow for position normalization.
  • Updated: Magic is no longer gained from GREAT timing judgements.
    Fixed: Issue with mouse cursor becoming unlocked and able to highlight menu buttons.
  • Fixed: Bug with the dialogue log where the exit button would/could not be highlighted when a scroll bar is not present and players could not exit the menu.
  • Fixed: Bug where resources could be gained while the pause menu is active.
  • Fixed: Bug where the grid cursor is still active post-combat while dialogue or the win/lose screen is active.
  • Fixed: Bug where dialogue is not set to active post-combat and cannot be progressed.
  • Fixed: Bug where the lose screen buttons would not be set to active and highlighted post-combat.
  • Fixed: Bug where returning to the level select menu from the win/lose screen would not set menu buttons to active and prevented players from interaction.
